Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal

Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal graduated from Kinnaird College. She got married, had two children, then completed her Masters in Law at Harvard. She is an advocate, retired Judge of the Lahore High Court, and a Professor who has taught law to many generations of students. She was elected President of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, was a member of the Pakistan Law and Justice Commission. Currently member of the Commission’s Technical Evaluation Committee. She has spoken all around the world on women and human rights including USA, Europe, Middle East China & Australia. Her awards include Fatima Jinnah Medal for Women’s Rights 2006, Woman of the Year Star Award 2007; Wonder Woman Award 2011. Nominated for Sitara-e-Imtiaz, to be conferred on 23rd March 2020. She is Trustee Transparency International Pakistan, Qarshi Foundation, President Punjab Mental Health Association.
